Exciting new programmes and intakes at Wintec for 2013!

Wintec believes that it is important to be competitive in today’s fast paced and changing environment, to ensure we are still the prerred destination to study for international students.

In the last couple of years, New Zealand Education has seen many policy changes relating to immigration and education that has had an overall fect on the industry. Taking into account these changes and our beli in supporting our partners’ marketing initiatives, we have realigned some of our courses and intakes to meet the increasing and ever-changing demands of the market.

Therore, we are delighted to inform you that the Wintec academic committee has approved the changes outlined below. We strongly believe these changes will not only offer more options to students, but also assist our education partners to promote Wintec more fectively.

The following engineering programmes will now have two intakes (February/July):

New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil) Level 6
Diploma in Technology (Science) Level 6
Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil/Mechanical - Electrical Feb only)
Bachelor of Technology


The following programmes will now have four intakes:
Graduate Diploma in Business Level 7 (February/April/July/October)
Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Level 7 (February/May/July/November)


We have introduced a programme called the Graduate Diploma in Sports Management Level 7 (February/July):
Graduate Certificate in Sports Management Level 7
Graduate Diploma in Sports Management Level 7
