[b][b]V: What is your plan for your major? [b][b]M: I wish to implement your leading edge in the fundamental biology into [b]the development of China's Traditional Chinese Medicine. I've made [b]consistent forts towards this dream, to plant the best medicinal herbs [b]worldwide. [b][b]V: How do you pay for your education? [b][b]V: I have an almost tuition scholarship from FDU and the rest of my [b]expense will be paid by my parents. I have my bank statement. [b][b]V: Do you have any supporting documents? [b][b]M: I have many, which one do you want to have a look? They are the offer letter, cert of [b]deposit, offer letter while I was studying in Singapore, admission letter, [b]my 'O' Level result as well as SAT I & II, TOEFL, supporting documents on [b]China's big GAP plan (Good Agricultural Practice of Medicinal Plants & [b]Animals), land properties, 4 of my photos taken in Harbin's pharmaceutical [b]company. [b][b]V: Will you come back to work in a company like this one after graduation? [b][b]M: It will certainly be my honor. This is one of the most profitable and [b]large-scale companies in China. Even a manual worker there can make up to [b]thousands of Chinese Yuan. [b][b]V: (nodding) What are your parents do? [b][b]M: My parents are the 4th generation of Chinese Medical Doctors in China [b]since Qing Dynasty. [b][b]V: Can you show me something about them? [b][b]M: I’ve known this school through their admissions director, Miss Heather [b]Auguar, 3 years ago at a college fair in Singapore. She’s very nice and [b]I’ve known a lot about this school through our 4 times face-to-face [b]conversation & email contact. On top of that, Fairleigh Dickinson has an [b]excellent biology program & is generous in terms of scholarship. [b][b]V: What kind of degree will you pursue in US? [b][b]M: With my A Level credits, I wish to pursue a master’s degree in 5 [b]years. And then I will come back to fulfill my dream to standardize & [b]modernize TCM. Moreover, China has a big plan on GAP right now. In the [b]case of Heilongjiang Province alone, out of the 2500 medicinal herbs, [b]there are only 3 herbs have undergone controlled plantation and accurate [b]analysis. I believe there will be great prospects & opportunities in this [b]area. [b][b]V: What kind of place will you come back to work for your research? [b][b]M: Oh there are many, universities, pharmaceutical companies, ect. [b][b]V: What kind of exact companies will you work for after graduation? [b][b]M: There are 2 very famous pharmaceutical companies in Harbin, one is [b]Sanjing and the other is Shiyitang. Have you seen the photos just now? I [b]visited these companies.
