Transcript:
We require that you upload your official transcript from each institution that you list in your online application. Your uploaded transcripts must:
Be an official transcript issued by your institution
Include the front and back of each page of the transcript
If your transcript is in a language other than English, please include an English translation.Upload your transcripts with their accompanying translation as part of your application. We accept translations issued by the institution or a professional translation service. Translations must be literal and complete versions of the original records.
Curriculum Vitae:
Your resume or CV serves as a good supplement to your statement of purpose and other application materials. In it, you can summarize all of your qualifications, honors, educational accomplishments, and interests. It provides the admissions committee with additional information to better evaluate your candidacy.
Personal Statement:
Please write a brief essay on the following subjects concerning you and your intended field of study:
Your past work on relevant issues
What excites you most about your chosen field of study
Possible areas of research you might pursue
Any research projects you have completed with faculty
Any faculty member’s research that is of interest to you
Any other information you would like to provide to the admissions committee
We are particularly interested in any projects that you pursued with a faculty member who is writing a letter of reference for you.
Recommendation Letter:
We require three letters of reference with your application.
Optional Statement:
The following factors can contribute to the diversity of the entering class:
Background
Life and work experiences
Advanced studies
Extracurricular or community activities
Culture, race, or ethnicity
Socioeconomic status
Sexual orientation
If you would like the committee to consider these factors as part of your application, you will have an opportunity in the online application to describe their relevance in a separate statement.
