“Blue is the colour, football is the game,” as Chelsea fans like to sing. Tonight their team is playing Barcelona in the semi-final of Europe&aposs Champions League in the Catalan city&aposs Camp Nou stadium. But here&aposs the thing. The guys from London are being coached by an interim manager.

An interim might also be a better bet than bringing in the management consultants. A good interim manager will be part of the business, even during a short stay, in a way that a consultant never would be.
