国家主席习近平出席2014年亚太经合组织(APEC)领导人非正式会议第一阶段会议并讲话。习近平指出，亚太经合组织的21个成员就好比是21只大雁，“风翻白浪花千片，雁点青天字一行”。以下为本次讲话要点双语对照：

　　如何破解区域经济合作碎片化风险?如何在后国际金融危机时期谋求新的增长动力?如何解决互联互通建设面临的融资瓶颈?

　　How can we resolve the risks that regional economic integration goes fragmented? How can we seek new growth momentum in the post-financial crisis era? How can we break the financing bottleneck for connectivity development?

　　我们应该深入推进区域经济一体化，打造有利于长远发展的开放格局。亚太经合组织应该发挥引领和协调作用，打破种种桎梏，迎来亚太地区更大范围、更高水平、更深层次的新一轮大开放、大交流、大融合。

　　We should strive for deeper regional economic integration, and create an open structure that is benicial for long-term development. APEC should play a leadership and coordinating role, break the shackles, and unleash a new era of broader and deeper opening up, communication, and integration.

　　我们应该全力推动改革创新，发掘新的增长点和驱动力，打造强劲可持续的增长格局。

　　We should push for rorm and innovation, search for new areas of profit and growth, and forge a strong and sustainable structure.

　　我们要创新发展理念，从传统的要素驱动、出口驱动转变为创新驱动、改革驱动，通过结构调整释放内生动力。

　　We need to be creative with our development approaches, to shift from the traditional export and factor-driven economy, to one based on innovation and rorm, and to project a new impetus through structural rorm.

　　共同应对全球性挑战。在后国际金融危机时期，我们既要抓住经济增长这个核心加强宏观政策的协调，又要妥善应对流行性疾病、粮食安全、能源安全等全球性问题。

　　Together, we should face the global challenges. In the post-global-economic-crisis era, we need, on one hand, to treat economic growth as our core task, while strengthening macro policy support; and on the other hand, to properly handle global issues such as epidemic diseases, food safety, and energy security.

　　以信息共享增进彼此了解，以经验交流分享最佳实践，以沟通协调促进集体行动，以互帮互助深化区域合作。

　　We need to enhance our mutual understanding by information sharing, to share the best practices through the exchange of experience, to promote collective action through communication and coordination, and to deepen regional cooperation through mutual help.

　　我们应该将亚太经合组织打造成推动一体化的制度平台，加强经验交流的政策平台，反对贸易保护主义的开放平台，深化经济技术合作的发展平台，推进互联互通的联接平台。

　　The APEC can be an institutional platform to promote integration, a policy platform to strengthen experience exchanges, an open platform to fight against trade protectionism, a development platform to deepen economic and technological cooperation and a connection platform to promote connectivity.
