21）我遇到的题目能用所谓XDF等的技巧做题的概率很小，当然有可能我没有慧根，技巧没掌握。题目还是考到修饰，理解整句意思结构的比较多。只记得有2个题目划线出现了和SEARCH 搭配有关。有SEARCH FOR /OF。。。可能其中还有别的知识点，我没看懂。

Search 搭配 Search for/in the search for/in the search of

1.Search 作动词:search for【search for sth./search sth. for sth./search sb. for sth.】

Ø I&aposve searched high and low for my glasses

Ø He was searched by the guards for weapons

Ø Scientists are still searching for a cure.

2.search作名词，search for/search of

Ø Bad weather is hampering the search for survivors.

Ø the search for a cure

Search of

Ø a search of the area。

Ø A computerized search of 10,000 medical journals

Ø Mark went in search of water.

PRPE中没有出现考Search搭配的题目，语法书上解释三个搭配在词义上是没有区别的，只是search for可以当作谓语动词使用。

5.【水果泡泡】

23）语法考到很多主谓一致和逻辑主语，句子长的时候大家要跳过插入语来判断，感觉不偏，大家不要紧张。有一道考intend to do和intend doing的选择，还有一个考including blablabla，平行也有考到。

Intend用法【PREP08】

(1) intend的固定搭配： à intend的动作发出者必须是生物。

intend somebody/something to do sth.

I didn&apost intend her to see the painting until it was finished. 　 I never intended things to turn out the way they did.

intend to do/doing sth. （后面跟to do和ing都可以）

intend that

be intended to do sth.：被用来做某事

be intended for somebody/something：表示书、电影、药品等专为…而设计或制造。

(2) intent的固定搭配：

noun. with intent (to do sth) à 注意intent前没有the

(3) intention of doing sth. / intention to do sth. à GMAT中通常不用intention to do sth.而只用intention of doing sth.

额外注意点(from longman)：

!! Do not say &aposhave no intention to do something&apos or &aposnot have the slightest intention to do something&apos. Say have no intention of doing something or not have the slightest intention of doing something : He had no intention of paying me the money.

!! Do not say &aposwith the intention to do something&apos. Say with the intention of doing something : He lt Manchester with the intention of finding a job in London.
