Sample Question

Do you think it is important to be polite?

Sample Answer

Yeah, positive. Politeness is a matter of etiquette. It lies in many small things in our daily life. For example, turning off the cell phone in a meeting, or giving seats away to the elder shows our polite manner. To be polite is a big rlection of who you are and how you treat and value people around you. It makes them feel very comfortable and respected. And what’s more, as the golden rule says, treat people the way you want to be treated. In my perspective, our politeness makes our life easier and more meaningful.

Sample question

Describe an activity on the sea or near the sea you want to try

Describe a usul skill you learned from your parents

Describe something you do to relax yourself recently

Sample answer

Rreshing my memory, I have learned a lot from my mother who has exerted great influence on me , such as how to cook, how to dress up for school parties. But the most unforgettable skill that she taught me should be swimming which is my favorite way to relax myself and keep fit in hot summer days.

Actually, things did not start smoothly. In my childhood, I was amazingly timid and scared of water. The first step to learn swimming became my biggest challenge and made me suffer a lot. But without pushing me hard, my mother taught me to stretch my limbs on the pool edge ,instructed me how to balance my body on the water and switch breathing up and down the water with patience and encouragement for many times. Due to her forts and help, I eventually mastered this survival skill and even now turn out to be good at many swimming strokes including breast stroke and freestyle. I have even got some rewards in the swimming competitions held in my university.

The reason why swimming is usul to me is not only due to the honor and confidence it brings me, but also it is an inevitable solution for me to get rid of frustrations and stress. Swimming builds my stamina and takes my mind off things that bother me.

A radio program, a seaside place, a shopping street, a rule in a school, a means of public transport以及one time when one guest lived in your apt/flat.
