　　Task 1

　　Many students are asked to evaluate their professors at the end of the semester. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this?

　　Task2

　　Nowadays, people use extreme method, like surgery to change their appearance; they do this because they are trying to become more attractive. Do you think this is a good idea?

　　Task3

　　The school recommends to get rid of the food cart on campus for two reasons. First is that it can keep the hygiene on campus while the other is that it is benicial for students' health.

　　In the conversation, the female student disagrees with the school's recommendation because first, there will always be trash somewhere in school, no matter there is a food cart or not. Second, it is actually benicial for students' health if they are allowed to eat. For example, she uses apple consumption to keep her attention in class. This cannot be achieved with the same fect in the dining hall. Hence, the food cart should not be banned.

　　Task4

　　Academic Performance

　　The professor was talking about the influence of previous knowledge on current academic performance. He illustrated two examples. First, the professors talked about the benits. He used to learn how to play the piano so that he can play it without looking at all the keys. As a result, he can manage to do the same with typing in computer class during high school. Second, he talked about the drawbacks. The professor used to have a friend, who majored in theater art. It was difficult for him to make a transition to movie performance because of the lower voice requirement.

　　Problem: The man lost his glasses at his parents' house. However, he needed the glasses to read hundreds of pages of documents.

　　Solution 1:Wait for a while for his parents to deliver the glasses to him.

　　Solution 2:Went back by himself but endure all the tiredness of taking public transportation.

　　Task6

　　The professor talks about needs for water in agricultural irrigation. Because of the lack of rain for a very long period of time, it caused salination to the land. In order to prevent this phenomena from happening, the professor mentions two methods. First is to construct sewage pipelines underground so that the redundant water can be eliminated. Second, the farmers can plant salt-tolerant vegetations to guarantee production under the same condition.
