Odysseus gets Polyphemus drunk and tells him that his name is "Nobody." When Odysseus stabs the Cyclopes in the eye and the other Cyclopes comes to help, Polyphemus shouts, "Nobody is killing me." Thinking he is not in danger the other Cyclopes go away. Odysseus then escapes by clinging to a sheep&apos&aposs belly as it walks out of the cave. With Odysseus&apos never-ending determination to reach his goal, he survives and returns home.
