Introduction

Since 1901, Hillside School, an all-boys junior boarding school for Grades 5-9, has continued its mission of working with boys in their formative years. Students work to develop academic and social skills while building confidence and maturity. Hillside seeks students of average to above-average intelligence who are looking for a supportive, structured school. Excellent programs for students with minor learning disabilities or ADD/ADHD.
Hillside is situated on 200 acres of fields, forest, and ponds in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Marlborough is located just 30 miles from Boston.
Unique to Hillside are the working farm and farmhouse dorm.
Tutorials available for students who need remediation and organizational skills. Our new Honors Seminar Program for 8th and 9th graders was added this year to not only challenge our top students but also to better prepare them for competitive secondary schools.
