Wyoming Seminary&apos&aposs Upper School, an independent coeducational day and boarding college preparatory school in Northeastern Pennsylvania, is known as a place where students and teachers challenge themselves and each others to reach their academic and personal goals.
At the time of its founding in 1844 by the Methodist Church, &apos&aposseminary&apos&apos was a common name for school. To this day, Wyoming Seminary maintains a connection with the Methodist Church but accepts students of all faiths. Although religious instruction is not part of our curriculum, a required Upper School course, he Bible and Western Culture, and weekly chapels are designed to challenge young people with Judeo-Christian values.
