　　加州大学洛杉矶分校(University of California, Los Angeles，通常缩写为UCLA，也常译为洛杉矶加利福尼亚大学、洛杉矶加州大学)。电影、电视、数字媒体等专业的加州大学洛杉矶分校申请要求：这样的专业每年只有秋季招生，想申请的话从上一年的8月可以开始申，官方给出的申请截止日期为：November 1 for MFA Production/Directing, MFA Screenwriting, and MFA Producers Program; and February 28 for MFA Animation。

　　MFA Animation: a departmental application; a statement of purpose; three letters of recommendation; a description of an animation project, prerably in storyboard form, that might be undertaken during graduate residence at UCLA. Other creative work may be submitted. Please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if these materials are to be returned.

　　MFA Production/Directing & MFA Production/Cinematography: 1) A statement of purpose no longer than 2 pages in length, 12 point font; 2) No more than three letters of recommendation ; 3) An original treatment no longer than 2 pages in length, 12 point font, describing a half hour film or television show that might be produced during graduate residence at UCLA. No adaptations or feature script treatments. Materials that are longer than the above guidelines may not be read. Do not combine the statement of purpose and film proposal; they are two separate documents. No material will be returned. Do not send scripts, DVDs or tapes. The statement of purpose should reveal the applicant’s creative background and abilities; artistic and professional objectives, and present a clear and accurate picture of the student as an individual. Production faculty will be reviewing all applications; approximately 65 finalist are then invited for an interview.

　　MFA Producers Program:A statement of purpose; three letters of recommendation; a complete resume; a portfolio consisting of one or two treatments (1-3 pages each), for feature, television, or new media projects that you expect to produce and that demonstrate your storytelling abilities. (Please do not send scripts, DVDs or tapes). Please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if these materials are to be returned. Otherwise, they will be destroyed. Approximately 30 finalists are invited for an interview.

　　The Producers Program looks for three qualities in prospective students: 1) Have they demonstrated a commitment to a career in producing? 2) Have they demonstrated the level of creativity the program requires? 3) Do they have the confidence necessary to be a producer-have they demonstrated the ability to generate their own goals and find the means to achieve them?

　　MFA Screenwriting: a departmental application; a statement of purpose; three letters of recommendation; samples of creative writing such as screenplays, short stories, plays, poetry, etc. Please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like your writing samples to be returned; otherwise they will be destroyed.
