Academic Honors

General guidelines:

· Local/school honor = 1-2 pts

· State level honor = 3-6 pts

· National level = 7-10+ pts

Note: “national level” rers to distinctions that are highly selective from the entire nation – some competitions designate themselves as “national” but draw only from a few states, and these cannot be counted as “national”.
