　　I knew Miss x about one year ago when she started being an undergraduate research assistant with a PhD student in my lab. Since then, I have been supervising her on a research project entitled Synthesis and photo-luminescence of porphyrins. In xx University, these opportunities are only provided to students who gain significant academic success and show great passion on chemistry。During the years in my lab, she was mainly responsible for literature search, synthesis experiments conducting and products analysis. At first, she was unfamiliar with the project and lacked some skills of such advanced chemistry experiment. But I found that as soon as she was assigned this task, she began to study assiduously for relevant knowledge and read many rerences. Thus she mastered the skill of the experiment in a short time and made contribution to the whole project.

　　The deepest impression she gave me was that she had her own ideas and always have a lot of questions unlike the others who just followed the textbook instructions. Miss x often came up with new ideas to improve the experimental methods. I also saw her notebook, it is surprising that she recorded so carully that many details especially success or fails experience and reasons are all kept in it. Such strictness and seriousness characters are valuable to an undergraduate student.
