　　Miss Li is my student. As she is the only student from Hong Kong in our school, I have paid special attention to her since she entered our school. She is versatile and always cheerful and optimistic. On one occasion she invited me to watch a stage drama Snowy Wolf Lake. It was really wonderful. I simply could not imagine she, my student, was the very director of the drama. Nevertheless, accustomed to the British-style education she received in Hong Kong, she had some initial difficulties adapting herself to her new environment in Tsinghua University. I had several detailed talks with her and provided her with important opinions on how to make a fresh start. Much to my delight, by making assiduous forts, Miss Li caught up with her classmates and even succeeded in surpassing most of them.

　　From then on, I found her obviously much more diligent in her studies. What moved me most was that according to her dormitory roommates, she studied for more than ten hours everyday. When she was a first-year student, I was her teacher in Introductions to Economics and Finance. She merely managed to pass the examination of this course. But when I again become her teacher in Introduction to Financial Engineering this year, her monthly essays are so professionally written that I become once again shocked at her extraordinary latent study capacity. I am also excited by her new ideas in those essays that testify to her full academic potential. Of course, I am perfectly satisfied with her performance so far.

　　A few days back she told me she wanted to study in Britain after graduation. I said I would write a letter of recommendation in her favor, because I believe she will be successful in her future studies in Britain. I would say to you, you do not need to worry whether her English is good enough to fulfill her studies in Britain. She had no problem communicating with Britons directly even bore entering our school. Concluding, I would say I am full of confidence that Miss Li will complete her studies in Britain.
