　　I first came to know xx in 2002 on the entrance interview of the master postgraduates program. That day, he looked nervous towards many professors, but I was astonished by his quick and exact answers when I asked him something about the

　　orthopaedics. Besides, he could talk with some professors coming back from foreign countries in such fluent English. Therore, he finally stood on the top of others in comprehensive grade and became a post graduate of our section office. I was very glad to accept him when he chose me to be his supervisor. 3-year post graduate study further proved that he was really an excellent student who in deed met my expectation on him.

　　What I want to emphasize on the first hand is his personal quality, which is well known to all members in our section office. He has ever, for many times, stayed alone in the sickroom for several days and nights to nurse the patients who needed nursing particularly until they got out of danger. After his graduation, I heard from a professor colleague ‘s comment that nearly all of the post graduates in our section office had been ever blamed by patients or our faculty except for him. I think this evaluation is the best gift for him. It has been over one year since his graduation, but there are still some returing-visit patients asking me about him. Besides, he is also excellent in academic field. He has ever helped me to study on a cosmopolitan problem about tendon adhesion, which was the program cooperating with xx Institute of Biological Medicine. In the design of the experiment, he brought forward an amazing and unprecedented suggestion that we should observe the topological structure of the collagen fibers of tendon under the polarizing microscope by using picric acid-sirius red special dying, with which we were able to observe clearly the proportion of I&III and the alignment of the collagen fibers. He was always seen shuttling between several cities and study centers for the experiment. Hard as it is, he still kept on for almost one year until he completed the experiment successfully and independently. Beniting from his forts, he finally passed the Thesis Dense and got unanimously appraised as “excellence” by the committee. In addition, he helped me a lot in my work and academic research. When working as my teaching assistant, he was always arriving at the classroom one hour earlier to prepare many Slide projectors, distribute and collect the assignments & exam papers. After class, he also helped me correct assignments and answer the questions of the students, which bridged

　　me to the students. With his help, I managed to hold the first Joint Surgery Academic Conference in xx Province very successfully and broadcasted in xx News in Sep. 2003. Thanks to his strong ability, he was employed by xx Medical College to teach the surgery courses in Apr. 2005.
