Who Can Apply 申请对象？

We accept students who will begin their freshman year in the fall. Princeton does not offer spring semester entry or a transfer admission option. If you already have started a college or university degree program elsewhere, you are not eligible to apply for admission to Princeton.

普林斯顿大学接收今年秋季入学的新生，不提供春季录取和转学生录取。已经开始了大学学位攻读申请者，不具备申请普林斯顿大学的资格。

If a student has submitted an application on three separate occasions, the Office of Admission generally will not review subsequent applications. In these instances, if an application fee was submitted, it will be returned.

若申请者同时递交三个申请方式的申请(EA/ED/RD)，招生办不会受理后续的申请。缴纳的申请费也将悉数退回。

Required Tests 需提交的考试成绩

We require the submission of one of the following: (1) SAT or (2) ACT with Writing. The redesigned SAT with Essay, which will be available in March of 2017, and the ACT with Writing will be treated equally.

In addition, we recommend, but do not require, the submission of two SAT Subject Tests, which often assist us in the evaluation process. We have no prerence for the specific SAT Subject Tests applicants choose to take. However, if you apply for the B.S.E degree, we recommend that you take either mathematics Level I or II, and either physics or chemistry.

International students must submit either the SAT or ACT with Writing. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), The Pearson Test of English Academic (Pearson Academic), the International English Language Testing System Academic (IELTS Academic) or national examination results are not used as a substitute for the SAT or ACT.

Academic Preparation 学术准备

During the admission process, our goal is to find students who will thrive in Princeton’s rigorous academic environment. This is not a list of admission requirements. If possible, we expect students will complete the following courses bore beginning study at Princeton:
