Apply your research leadership skills on major economic and social policy projects within the Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre.

Description:

Located within the Curtin Business School, the Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre’s research program will inform policy makers and commentators of the economic challenges to achieving sustainable and equitable growth and prosperity both in Western Australia and nationally.

Centre researchers undertake nationally and internationally significant research and analysis with a focus on the key themes of:

Regional economic policy

Trade and industrial economics

Labour and productivity

Taxation and welfare policy

Population growth and dynamics

Income, wealth and housing

Wellbeing and disadvantage

Economic policy forecasting and evaluation

As a Principal Research Fellow, your role will be to provide research leadership for projects on the major economic and social policy issues facing Western Australia and the nation in liaison with the BCEC Director.

It is essential that you have a doctoral qualification or equivalent senior research experience in a relevant field.
