Tenure Track-9 month Academic Year Appointment

The Department invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We seek outstanding candidates who use cutting-edge technologies to study fundamental problems in developmental biology in vertebrates or invertebrates. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: cell specification and plasticity, pluripotency, morphogenesis and tissue homeostasis. The successful candidate is expected to develop a vibrant, externally-funded research program, and to participate actively in undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentoring. Cornell University provides a rich and collaborative research environment with outstanding imaging, genomics, proteomics and stem cell core facilities. Position will be 70% Research and 30% Teaching.

Qualifications: An advanced degree (Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent) and 2-3 years of postgraduate training are required.
