　　首先，way的本义是“路”，很简单。从“路”引申出来的含义就非常多了。(立即咨询)

　　1. way可以表示“方法”比如what do you think it the best way to learn English?

　　2. 渠道，This young man managed to find a way to the business world.

　　3. 表示做事的方式，The teacher talked with tom in a friendly way.

　　4. 表示“这样、那样”，let’s do it this way, I want it that way(这不正好是一首歌的名字吗).

　　5. 部分、方面，He is correct in one way. 从某方面来说他是对的。Free education makes sense in many ways. 从很多方面来说，免费教育都是有道理的。

　　6. 距离，we still have a long way to go bore we pass IELTS.

　　7. 挡路，IELTS is in my way to UK.雅思挡着我去英国的路了。

　　8. 让路, give way;取代，Paper books will give way to electronic books sooner or later.

　　9. 规划中，the new library is under way

　　10. 情况，Their family is in a bad way.

　　11. 表示癖好，Everybody has his ways.

　　12. 表示可能性，this could go either way

　　13. 不管怎样，one way or another

　　14. 颠倒，the other way around

　　15. 努力，I got out of my way to learn English

　　16. 按照某人的意愿发展，Things don’t always go your way.

　　One-way:单向，this is a one-way street; 单程：one-way ticket to UK.

　　Two-way:It is a two-way street.双向的，你来我往的，相互的过程(隐喻单靠一边是搞不定的)。比如Bribery is a two-way street. 贿赂得有人行贿有人受贿才行。

　　Halfway: 半路，中途，一半

　　One way or another, you will pass IELTS.
