　　If you are working in settings where local circumstances impact on the health and well being of the population, our range of Public Health courses and units will help you gain understanding of how positive changes could influence Public Health. You can study Public Health with us full-time or through our flexible part-time modular learning experience. Alternatively you can study individual Public Health units.

　　Flexible Public Health qualifications tailored to you

　　Our range of Public Health courses are intended to meet the demands of individuals at different stages of their career and individual development. Given that the field of Public Health entails multi-agency involvement and partnerships, we welcome practitioners and professionals from a range of backgrounds, not necessarily in health. Our Public Health courses are linked with the Centre for Wellbeing and Quality of Life at Bournemouth University and are designed to rlect local, national and international agenda's for the continuing professional development of the Public Health workforce. By the end of the course you can apply for student membership of The Royal Society for Public Health.

　　Each unit of study is normally delivered over 5 full days or 10 half days at Bournemouth University, Lansdowne campus, and will be assessed individually via a variety of different methods. In addition to this you are expected to study privately in order to successfully complete your chosen units/course of study.

　　Our Public Health courses

　　You will study 3 units for the PG Certificate Public Health, 6 units for the PG Diploma Public Health plus a dissertation/ practice development project for the Masters in Public Health. Subject to entry criteria, students may take stand alone individual units of study rather than register for the whole course.
