To be able to determine the proficiency of someone's knowledge of Dutch or English, Ghent University uses the Common European Framework Rerence for Foreign Languages (CEFR-level).

Tuition Fees 2017-2018 for Non-EEA students

Non-EEA students pay a higher tuition fee, except for Dutch-taught bachelor, linking and preparatory programmes.

The tuition fee consists of the standard tuition fee and an additional fee, set by the faculty.

For international and interuniversity joint masters there may be an exception to the guidelines on higher tuition fees, set by Ghent University.
